about me

My Bio

Shortly after God saved Jason when he was 19 years old, he briefly attended Tyndale Bible College in Toronto, ON, excited to grow in his relationship with God. He then transferred to Redeemer University in Ancaster, ON, where he earned a B.A. Thereafter, in the providence of God, he lived in Banff, AB, for a few years, where he got to explore the Rocky Mountains. For the first time in his life, he was privileged to sit under faithful expository preaching. While in Banff, he also met his godly wife-to-be and felt called to attend Trinity Western University (TWU) to prepare for pastoral ministry. While at TWU, he was privileged to be mentored by Pastor Rob Godard at Cloverdale Baptist Church. Having obtained a M.A., he had the privilege of serving as lead pastor of Hague Gospel Church in Hague, Saskatchewan and, more recently, Grace Community Bible Church in Shawville, Quebec. Along the way, God has blessed him and his wife with two Dutch-looking daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys talking about God with men over coffee, gardening, and being goofy with his children.
